What do I need for Intune and Autopilot?
Microsoft 365 Business Premium, the standard licence for Complete and Premium. It includes Intune. For Autopilot a new laptop has to be registered at purchase; if you buy through me, I take care of that.

With Microsoft Intune and Autopilot I manage your laptops centrally, wherever they are. A new laptop ships in its box straight to your employee and sets itself up as soon as they sign in. Updates happen automatically, settings are the same everywhere, and a lost laptop can be wiped remotely. Who it is for
Laptop management makes sense from the first laptop that holds business data.
- Every laptop is set up differently, depending on who unboxed it at the time.
- Updates are not installed, or only after months.
- There is no overview of which laptops exist, who uses them and how old they are.
- A lost or stolen laptop would mean business data out in the open.
- Staff also work from home or on the road, so dropping by to set something up is not an option.

What it is not
- Not hardware repair. A broken laptop goes through the manufacturer's warranty; I arrange the claim and make sure your employee can work again as soon as possible.
- Not full management of personal devices. On a personal phone or laptop I can ring-fence work email and files, but I do not manage the device itself.
- Not hardware in the package price, apart from the lifecycle in Premium. I do supply laptops and screens, at purchase price plus a fixed margin.
Frequently asked questions
Can existing laptops be brought under management too?
Yes. During onboarding I bring them under management, without your staff having to start over. Sometimes a clean install is wiser, for example with an old laptop full of software nobody remembers. We decide that per laptop.
Can I keep buying laptops myself?
You can. Autopilot works most smoothly when I handle the purchase, because the laptop is then registered straight away. In Premium the whole purchase is included; in the other packages I supply hardware at purchase price plus a fixed margin.
What does my employee notice?
Little, and that is the point. Updates run in the background and a restart is announced in advance. The biggest difference is with a new laptop: someone signs in and can get to work shortly after.
